Nestlé, PCSIR celebrates World Health Day

Nestlé Pakistan held a seminar on ‘Food Safety’ in collaboration with the Pakistan Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (PCSIR) to mark the World Health Day, on April 6, 2015.

According to the World health Organization, unsafe food that is contaminated or contains harmful viruses, bacteria, parasites and chemical substances, is known to cause more than 200 diseases worldwide and is linked to almost 2 million deaths across the globe every year.

For Nestlé, the quality and safety of our products is of primary concern.

Nestlé Pakistan will soon be initiating visits to its factories for key opinion leaders to share with them how the company ensures food safety. In addition, the company will be partnering with educational institutions to introduce courses on food safety.
